Asian American Film Lab, a non profit organization devoted to promoting racial, gender, sexual orientation, and other types of diversity in the media, now has programming on NYC's public access tv.  On March 5, 2014 at 10pm, the Film Lab's new series, the Film Lab presents, will air on Channel 25 on Verizon Fios and Channel 22 on Cablevision.  Those that do not have cable will be able to watch Film Lab Presents on NYC's online VOD service. Film Lab Presents will have a 13 episode run, and its episodes range from comedy to drama. Those who live in NYC should check NYC's Media schedule.

In addition to the Film Lab Presents, AA has an upcoming 72-hour shootout.  The top 10 films will be screened in both NY and LA.  Submitters will have additional time to create extended versions of their programming to submit to Film Lab Presents.  For more info go to the Shootout's official website.
