Though I am still feeling that I am in a state of depression, but I am really happy after hearing that someone in this world are needing me. Now I am happy that someone want to read my writing. It is really a pleasant experience for me.

There was a time when I was declared as mad person by my own people when I told them that terrorism is a bad thing. I have been struggling for the last five years to save my people from violence, but I have failed in my bid.

But still I consider myself responsible for the death and destruction in Bajaur Agency, tribal areas situated on Pak-Afghan border. Why I have failed to stop terrorists from entering the areas? I am still not clear where I was wrong? But I was wrong as I failed in my bid. I consider myself responsible for deaths of innocent people including women and children in the fighting.

Now some half a million people have been running for their life. Now my own children and wife are living in high dangerous zone, but I still I can do nothing to save them. I am still considering myself responsible for the miseries of my wife and children. I want to give them some relief, but I am helpless. Now my world has been destroyed. My hometown Bajaur Agency has been destroyed. I know the people, who are responsible for the destruction, but I can do nothing against them as the rulers of Pakistan. They are mighters and I am weak.

The News International in its report while quoting government sources confirmed the migration of 248,000 people from Bajaur Agency.

Adviser to Prime Minister on Interior Rehman Malik on Thursday said 248,000 people had been displaced due to the operation in Bajaur and the government had taken all necessary measures to provide them relief and shelter.

He said the government had provided them camps, foods and medicines. The adviser to the PM disclosed these figures in National Assembly during a discussion on law and order situation in the country. Twenty camps have been set for the displaced people.

During the operation, 561 militants had been killed and the security forces were conducting a targeted operation. He said the action had been taken at right time. “The writ of the government cannot be challenged and those who have done it, we have challenged them. We had two choices, either to hand over the country to Taliban or fight back and we opted to fight back,” he said.

Now the United States is also providing help for the displaced persons of Bajaur Agency. Though a claim was made in this regard, but its impact is invisible. According to Daily Times report, the US has offered help for displaced people.

The United States has provided emergency assistance to Pakistanis displaced by an army operation against militants in Bajaur Agency, embassy officials said on Wednesday.

Local authorities have said more than 200,000 people have fled Bajaur, the primary focus of the nearly two-week-old offensive, and the neighbouring Mohmand Agency. Many have landed in relief camps set up by the government and political parties.

Aid: "We are working alongside the Pakistani and provincial governments to get emergency aid to those in need," said US Ambassador Anne W Patterson, adding that $50,000 had been set aside for gas stoves, pots, utensils and plastic sheeting.

The supplies are intended to help those "displaced by the fighting survive until it is safe for them to return to their homes", she said, without suggesting when that might be.

The US aid indicated American officials were watching the situation with growing concern. But it also came as Washington seeks to strengthen its ties with the new ruling coalition.

The spokesman for Pakistan's Foreign Ministry could not immediately be reached for comment on the US aid package.

Army spokesman Maj Gen Athar Abbas said the operation was confined to Bajaur, but it was possible the operation was having a spill-over effect on residents in the neighbouring Mohmand Agency.

Many of the displaced were headed to the Lower Dir region, where government officials say several relief camps have been set up. Large numbers also went to Peshawar and surrounding areas.

Television footage in recent days has shown hundreds of people packing trucks or walking with belongings to escape the violence.

Gul Bibi, 58, cried as she told an AP reporter that her husband Hamid Khan left home for evening prayers in the Mullah Sayed area in Bajaur four days ago but never returned.

Around 780 people were at a relief camp at a school compound in Nowshera. Dozens of off-white tents were up, while dust-covered children lingered barefoot.

Allahdad Khan, the camp administrator, said the government and several relief groups were providing medical services, blankets, food and other aid. It's unclear how much longer the Bajaur clashes will continue.

Adviser on Interior Rehman Malik said last week that Pakistani intelligence has reports that about 3,000 armed militants were present in Bajaur. The militants include Pakistanis, Afghan Taliban and Central Asians, he said.
