After 100 years of war, debt, and empire, the Fed seems to have a life of its own - the Fed's lifelong partners, our presidents and our congresses, notwithstanding some notable exceptions, seem very pleased with their arrangement: the borrower (the federal government) is slave to the lender (the banker) - Source

The Fed celebrates their birthday on Dec 23 - one hundred years collecting interest on financing our nation's wars, debt, and building a worldwide empire for the United States. The principal they collect on - 17 trillion plus and counting. The empire - a network of military bases and a worldwide reserve currency (Federal Reserve Notes) spanning the globe.

The belief is wide spread that the Fed has a one hundred year charter which will expire on Dec 23, leaving the way clear to dump their entire "debt money system".

It's a nice story but I heard somewhere along the line that it wasn't true but no one could really provide the facts.

Federal Statute passed on Feb 25, 1927, gave the Fed the power of succession (ongoing and indefinite), "unless it is sooner dissolved by an Act of Congress  or unless its franchise becomes forfeited by some violation of law" - Source

Auditing and ending the Fed, and allowing Americans to use the currency of their choice, must be a priority for anyone serious about restoring peace, prosperity, and liberty - Source
