Debunking "The false ideology that caused our financial failure" In his article, "The false ideology that caused our financial failure", Ed Martin attempts to blame our present economic problems on the nonexistent free market. Ignoring the fact that the problems were caused by government interference in the economy, a fact that can't be stressed enough. Markets can recover from this interference if left alone.

Sen. Gravel Tries to Make Government Work Former Sen. Mike Gravel, a contender for the Libertarian party presidential nomination, is a supporter of the National Initiative for Democracy. This legislation would give the people the power to make laws, bypassing congress.
