Trump whined about having to sign a bill that was so chock-full of crap he didn't like. He said that he would never sign another bill like this one, and most Americans probably hope that's true. The spectacle of Trump lambasting a bill as he was signing it is actually a rather good depiction of his pitiful proclivity for failure.

It is not often I can say that it is a pleasure to vote for a politician, usually nose holding is involved.

Solon announced a general jubilee - a one-time cancellation of all debts to "shake off their burdens."
His next act was to forbid the enslavement of one Athenian by another and made it a "civic right" rather than a "human right", thus creating the concept of citizenship.
Anticipating that the aristocrats would turn to intimidation against the newly freed debtors and slaves, Solon outlawed acts of hubris...

Capitalism is Sociopathic -- 7 Pillars By Charles D?
1. Only individuals exist and create value with private property.
The individual's moral mission is to pursue self-interest and profit in the market.
There are no commons, community or public goods in capitalism -- only private property.
Individual selfishness is good for all.

The GOP Senate version of Obamacare repeal, known as BCRA, does not meet the requirements of the Byrd Rule in many important areas, according to a ruling from the Senate Parliamentarian.
