Alejandro   Arce a/k/a Alex or “ EL   CONDOR ” was born in Lima, Peru in 1933 and moved to the USA in 1956.. He holds American citizenship and still conserves his Peruvian Passport.

While in Peru he was accepted at the Air Force Officers Academy for 3 years and later on studied at San Marcos University.

At the present his residence is in Miami.

In 1962 he joined Bionetics Research laboratory, as a senior research technician, laboratory supervisor after studying in the National Academy of Sciences, The National Research Foundation. He participated  and worked in cancer research, testing cancer chemotherapeutic products, and many other research and development projects, including studies on the effects of smoking.

 In 1967 he worked for the Meloy Laboratories as a laboratory manager and participated in the testing of the Jarvis pump, replacing the heart in calves, and performed other cardio vascular studies. He published several papers in England, and visited laboratories in Europe.

While working on contract for The National Institute of Health projects, the Heart and Lung Institute, he was offered to join the U. S. Government and started to work for E.P.A. as a toxicologist testing dermal and eye irritants with the position of Laboratory Chief. Later on he transferred as a researcher assigned to study and approve the data submitted by private industries for registration purposes of various industrial products as well as domestic ones. His decisions were published in the CFR and became law.

Alex has been writing for several publications, among them the NFFE (National Federation of Federal Employees) of which he was a Vice President. Later on, he ran for the Office of President of Peru with the principle reason of curbing the abuse of the indigenous population, including children, primarily in the high altitudes in the mining regions. He abandoned his candidacy due to an assault and injury suffered. Since then he has been writing subjects regarding politics and issues of wide interest.

His main interest is in the betterment of regular people in Latin America as well as in the States.  For such reason he writes to senators and congressmen encouraging them to curb abusive wars and enhance our education Stating that: IT IS BETTER TO HAVE EDUCATION THAN INCARCERATION
