Tale of Two Bullets in Gaza In Gaza, reminders of war and violence are everywhere. It is normal to hear the sound of drones and F-16's crossing the sky. The sound of machine gun fire from Israeli gunboats often punctuates a day at the beach or disrupts ones sleep. Building facades made of plaster and cinder block are scored with large caliber bullet holes, or even larger holes from mortars.

Tonight I am Confused Israel has a right to defend itself. Israel also has to teach its enemies a lesson from time to time, and I imagine the sooner the better. They certainly don't want the people of Gaza to imagine what it must be like to be free, this would only encourage the terrorists.

They Will Never Beg The Clintons, Nulands, Yalons, and Liebermans of the world are not so easily swayed. The human misery they inflict on Palestine and the rest of the world does not influence their political calculations. They have the power, the money, the sophisticated weapons, and a complicit media.

Rockaways, Katrina, Iraq, Afghanistan, Gaza and the West Bank -- Where Can I find some Blankets? Many people in the Rockaways are in desperate need of blankets. The same is so in Afghanistan where babies froze to death in their mothers arms last winter. There are natural weather events and there are disasters. We are living in a time of great disaster world-wide, which our government seems unable to heal and plays a great part in perpetuating.

Israeli soldiers shot two young men, armed only with a flag, from point-blank range. Over the course of the day, they shot dozens of young men, all armed with nothing more than stones.

Harrowing Account of Attempting to Get Into Gaza from Egypt There is no way Americans will be allowed to pass. It is not Egyptian policy, but American policy. U.S. Citizens are no longer permitted to enter Gaza through Rafah Crossing because the U.S. Embassy in Cairo will not permit it, there is nothing to be done.
