Worship of the Military Worship of the military is part of the phase of decline in which the United States finds itself. Our leaders are cynically using the worship of the superhuman soldier to further its aims of world domination.

Bush is not FDR, This Is Not World War II and Iraq and Vietnam are Only Connected by the Word Quagmire George Bush's attempts to connect his bumbling, ludicrous attempts at leadership to any aspect of World War II and its leaders and his laughable attempt to redefine the facts of the Vietnam war are too much for a thinking person to digest. It is bunk. He is bunk.

The real world leaders, the true heroes and heroines The real leaders are not the ones who wrest power by hook or crook and use and manipulate it for personal gain and greed. The real leaders and heroes reside unknown amongst the billions of ordinary people . They selflessly and courageously work for peace and understanding and justice.

The troops are strained Mr. Bush, Do you care, Mr. Bush? No, Mr. Bush, your heart is ten times too small. The military says the troops are stressed to the breaking point. Does Bush care? Evidently not. He will continue this insane madness into 2008. Damn the suffering and full steam ahead.

Bad leaders wield the power of a war culture Out of World War II has grown a war culture, a Rambo mentality, the idea that the military uniform houses an entity beyond reproach who is never to be questioned. It is a culture in which violence is glorified and objection to is is vilified as unpatriotic. It is a perfect scenario for the rise of an idiological despot with a low moral quotient.

The Republican Party is Imploding The implosion of the republican party is not a simple, straightforward proposition but is composed of a web of interlacing forces and misguided philosphy. And the evidence of its decline can be found in many different facets of its present-day construction and support.

A damn lapel pin is the burning issue of the day?!?!?!? Highly paid media pundits who call themselves adults are actually debating the absence of a piece on tin on a lapel. The petulent childish behavior of the occupants of the seats of power in Washington has penetrated far too deeply in American society and need to be removed now, along with all their ridiculous enablers in the media.

Dictatorship? Naw, It Could Never Happen Here. Connecting the dots into a coherent, possible picture of what the most corrupt administration in the history of the nation may do to protect itself and to force its jaundiced vision of empire and American hegemony on the nation and the world.

The Freedom's Watch crudely orchestrated pro unending war ads Freedom's Watch ads do not convince very many Americans. The obvious falseness of their claims, the obvious delusions of our barely literate president in regard to his war and the lack of support even among conservatives for this madness as evidenced in the most recent issue of American Conservative magazine are indicative of public exasperation with unending war and its consequences.

They Are All Quite Mad Our government is run by lunatics and ideologues who live in an alternate universe and monitored by incompetent corporate shills and no one seems to notice.

Raging at Foxes How can it be that when 54% of Americans are in favor of the impeachment of Dick Cheney, that a key congressman won't touch the issue because he is afraid of Fox News?

The grand scam again. Remember Colin Powell at the UN? Remember the fawning, tail wagging, lapping it up, unquestionning media? The scam is on again, a transparent, obvious scam. Boys and girls they are at it again. And they have got to be stopped short and sent to the woodshed.

The Woven Fabric of Lies Is Unraveling The fabric of lies and secrets of the Bush administration cannot stay hidden within a government of thousands of civil servants, among whom have to be many ethical people. The disgust they feel will generate the leaks that will break the dam of lies.
