The UN resolution that was passed was simply for a "no fly zone." It said nothing about replacing or "ousting" Qaddafi. Also, it turns out the Arab League did not have a full quorum, but voted to support this attack on Qaddafi in error. The Arab League secretary general, Amr Moussa, is now sorry that he led the rhetorical assault that the Saudi's and Americans pushed for.

What's fair is fair, and we should be responsible for fairness and for the humanitarian needs of the American people. Far too many of us are suffering daily under a government that flouts the law, starts wars that wastes money and lives, destroys social safety nets to rake in more money for wars.
SHARE Monday, April 18, 2011 Robert Gates Was Correct: They Should Have Their Heads Examined for Starting Another War
It is impossible to have three known wars, along with the new warlike behavior of AFRICOM, and an unofficially declared war on Pakistan, and still save our American people and our economy. This is pure madness. Our leaders say we want peace, but a wise man once said, "You can't make peace by war." Unfortunately, America, Britain and France have not learned that lesson.
SHARE Monday, April 25, 2011 Dangerous Precedents Have Been Set by Obama, Sarkozy, Cameron and Hague
If this internationally illegal behavior -- this action -- is allowed to go unpunished, then we can expect chaos throughout the world. No leader of any nation will be safe, and that includes the warmongering group of four: Obama, Hague, Cameron and Sarkozy.

If, and when, America should lose its reserve currency status, there will be a lot of hand wringing and shouting and blaming in America and anger at the world, but the truth is known to many of us in the world -- it will be America's own fault, not the fault of others. our lives will continue to collapse and we will fall faster and further into this abyss we're already rapidly falling into.

Let us pepper Feinstein and Brennan with emails and letters to have him testify under oath before the senate committee on public media so that we can all find out as much truth as is possible to ascertain. In this way, perhaps we can pressure them both to do their jobs in a responsible manner, by serving the American people as they are charged to do.
SHARE Tuesday, September 14, 2010 Completing the Circle: Tony Blair, Bill and Hillary Clinton, and their assistants
Giving this "Human Rights Award" to Tony Blair was most appropriate, and the presenter, Bill Clinton, was perfect. It is evidence that the world has gone mad. With the media singing the praises of the devils, at times you may think you are nuts, but you aren't -- they are.

If this is allowed, for even a moment, the picture of burning Qur'ans will be spread all over the Muslim world and make moderates into radicals; thus, giving more ammunition to radicals. It will also show Muslims that the American government, the Florida government and the city of Gainsville were afraid to act to prevent this man from yelling "FIRE!"

Reagan was the kind of man that President Eisenhower feared would one day be in the White House. Sadly, his fears were born out with the arrival of the actor Ronald Reagan, a man who did not write his own speeches, could not keep his mind together for more than two sentences, who was a fool in international politics and destroyed the America we all loved and believed in.
SHARE Sunday, February 13, 2011 The Heritage of President Gamal Abdel Nasser and the Future of Egypt
The Egyptian military will run things until a stable situation is achieved, until a civilian authority is put into place, with a democratic vote for parliament and other offices. In the meantime, I hope the US, Israel, Iran and others will keep their dark OP hands out of Egypt, but I fear they will be meddling and, while rhetorically calling for "democracy," will be trying to subvert it.
SHARE Monday, September 27, 2010 The "Dark Ages" of America
The "Dark Ages" of America are upon us -- the broken 100-year old levee in Wisconsin, the wars, the corporations and more jobs being lost every day. It is clear that America is running things upside down, and that the dark days we've seen are but the beginning of a new "Dark Age" in our country.
