The Insane Prelude to the Corporate Takeover of the Planet "The interests behind the Bush Administration, such as the Council on Foreign Relations, The Trilateral Commission -" founded by Brzezinski for David Rockefeller -" and the Bilderberger Group, have prepared for and are now moving to implement open world dictatorship within the next five years. They are not fighting against terrorists. They are fighting against citizens."

The Psychopaths Are Trembling (modified version) The Psychopaths who are trembling in their chateaux, in their gated communities far away from the lowly plebs and, in the greatest contempt for the needs of the common people, are still perfectly unaware of the tremendous earth quake that will be occurring the day the people have had enough. Of course they sense the danger of driving the knife into the bodies so deeply that the victim is barely breathing.

Poetry and Politics - Voices From the Past Playwright and poet Harold Pinter, in his Nobel prize acceptance speech on 7 December 2005, at the Swedish Academy in Stockholm, made an unforgettable speech, fiercely condemning the Bush/Blair attack on Iraq and, in general, U.S. arrogance and lawlessness, saying "The invasion of Iraq was a bandit act, an act of blatant state terrorism, demonstrating absolute contempt for the concept of international law

Pakistan Is Dying -- The World Yawns To Americans, Pakistan is not known as the ally, but as the Muslim country that we didn't know anything about until the floods began. And Muslim equals enemy in the war on terror. Actually, for most people it did not get above their radar even then.

NOMA - The Face of Poverty Malnutrition and hunger are not only direct killers of children and adults all over the developing world. A lesser-known but horrible result of the negligence and callousness of the rich Western world is a cruelly disfiguring disease called noma, a scourge which is destroying lives in large parts of the developing nations. Until very recently, little has been done to deal with this awful disease, partly because it was hidden.

Jean Ziegler: Hatred of the West - interview with BASTA! On the one hand, there is real suffering in the West. Beginning last August, every day in the United States 10,000 families are evicted from their homes for example. Thousands and thousands of pension funds traded in the U.S. were went up in smoke, generating anxiety for the future. ... But the most appalling tragedy is taking place in the 122 countries of "the South'. Every five seconds a child under 10 dies from hunger.

The Different Face of the Third World War Make no mistake. The third World War is right here. Now. There are two sides to this war, but it is not the East against the West. It's not even the South against the North. It is not a geographical war. It's a class war. It is the Poor against the Rich on all five continents. And right now the Rich are winning. The world is at war. Unrelenting, genocidal war. Another war

Capitalism Is Dying a Natural Death The curtain is going down on the lone-superpower world we know and it is now a most urgent question if and when and how forces for true democracy, human rights, peace and civilization can come out and dissipate the cloud that has spread over what was once an almost decent way of life. The long-time descent into totalitarian capitalism and neglect for anything but corporate profit has just about finished its course.

The Mafia Is Running the Giant World Casino A breathtakingly powerful Mafia is running away with the world as we knew it. We now have indiscriminate killings, torture and deprivation of civil rights. We have unbound aggression on countries that present an obstacle to U.S. global power. We have colossal negligence of the environment, we have an impending economic disaster(although band-aided over for the moment in order to protect Big Money, at the expense of taxpayers)

What We Can't Conquer, We Buy Lunacy is ruling the world. Eternal wars, environmental damage, neglect of the common people, are all proof of the total lack of common sense. The ever-increasing movement towards inequality and the strangling of democracy are signs that people matter no more. Culture has been replaced by the accumulation of material goods. Information has morphed into mass propaganda.Greed has won out over humane instincts of solidarity.

Monsanto: Public Enemy No. 1 The ‘war on terror' has become nameless since our administration changed. But it is the same war, it has the same goals and it is as unwinnable as it always was. But certainly there are other ways of conquering the planet, says Washington. And so they impose their huge industries with their humungous profits on the entire world, corporations like Monsanto,... and their goal is to make us eat only what they profit from.

Money is God, Greed is King and Corruption Runs the Game Never has the world been subjected to as pure and destructive lunacy as at this time in history. Never have the anti-civilization voices been heard as stridently as in the so-called debate that is going on today. The insane and desperate noise of the single-party political scene in the United States, the deafening roar of the Mafia, is threatening to out-thunder the few reasonable and civilized voices that are attempting...

The Multiple Faces of War Wars have always been fought for the profit of the very few and brought about anguish and sufferings for the very many. They have always been caused by the rapaciousness of the leaders. The people have always been the ones who had to bear the grim consequences of the selfish greed and lust for power of these very few who see plunder and destruction of lives and happiness of the many as their self-evident birthright.

Will Democracy Forever Remain an Illusion? The United States is sinking deeper and deeper into the poisoned slough of their own making. Moral turpitude goes hand-in-hand with naiveté and arrogance. And nothing seems to have changed if it's not that there is now a president with acute intellectual abilities rather than an insensitive and illiterate clown who couldn't hold a book right side up.

Is It the Dawn We Are Seeing on the Horizon? Patriotism, the military and the economy have morphed into the present-day trinity of a religious faith that has taken over the United States and steeped its citizens in the deep belief of the unconditional superiority of their country. Mammon is God, Greed is the Son and Expansionism is the Holy Ghost. Modesty is the devil and Compassion is an unknown entity.

Religion and money, the way to complete power – or not? Religion and money have always been the sacred pillars of American civilization, ever since the time when it was a British colony, ever since the Puritans in New England branded the philosophy of the new country as a god-fearing and materialistic new world.

The Big Con Game Milton Friedman's Chicago school of deranged predators who wanted, and nearly managed as well, to completely distort the economic system on a global scale was born out of a creed that everything could be gained by a tiny minority. There has been a total lack of concern for everything but those very few who were the profiteers. What was destroyed in the process didn't bother them in the least.

Jean Ziegler: "This World Order is not just murderous, it is absurd" Fighting against the imbalance in the world, in the 'Hatred of the West', Jean Ziegler calls for a new social contract based on global solidarity and dialogue between the South and the West. ... This is the unmasking of the capitalism of the jungle. There is, on the one hand, the suffering of American workers: 25 million families evicted from their homes since March, plus 10 000 tenants evicted every day since September.

Yes, I am my brother's keeper Do we need further proof that greed is not the solution for a sound economy? Do we need further proof that capitalism is foundering? Do we need further proof that ignoring the poor is not the way to make the world go round? That selfish accumulation of wealth is not the key to peace of mind and a life worth living? The weirdoes who are presently at the helm of the world don't know a thing about what a good life is all about.
