Hunger Is a 'Weapon of Mass Destruction', says Jean Ziegler "Every five seconds, a child under 10 dies of hunger. -- Thirty-five million people die each year from hunger or its immediate aftermath. -- One billion people are permanently and severely malnourished and the situation is becoming increasingly catastrophic." Capitalism Is Dying a Natural Death The curtain is going down on the lone-superpower world we know and it is now a most urgent question if and when and how forces for true democracy, human rights, peace and civilization can come out and dissipate the cloud that has spread over what was once an almost decent way of life. The long-time descent into totalitarian capitalism and neglect for anything but corporate profit has just about finished its course.

Monsanto and the Mortal Danger to Traditional Agriculture The greatest threat to the future of food production in the world is the introduction of genetically engineered foods from the bio-tech industry. Contrary to their mendacious propagandized promises of solving the problem of world hunger through the so-called second green revolution, the bio-tech companies are instead in the process of destroying the world's ecosystems, and thus the natural food chains and life cycles.

Nestle and Monsanto, hand-in-hand, will happily do us in It's strictly ingenious. The two big multinational corporations have found the way to ruin the earth. They care about nothing but their own coffers -- profit, profit and more profit, and step by step they will move us to the brink. Hopefully they will be the first to fall over the cliff. They will have ruined the earth, water, plants, forests, insects, mammals and all that is comprised in the concept of ecosystems.

Yes, I am my brother's keeper Do we need further proof that greed is not the solution for a sound economy? Do we need further proof that capitalism is foundering? Do we need further proof that ignoring the poor is not the way to make the world go round? That selfish accumulation of wealth is not the key to peace of mind and a life worth living? The weirdoes who are presently at the helm of the world don't know a thing about what a good life is all about.

What Really Happened on September 11 -- A Whistle-blower Comes Forward Firstly, Air traffic controllers taking no notice - Secondly, NORAD, North American Aerospace Defense Command, did NOTHING. An important addition to the points I have already made is what whistle-blower, Major General Albert Stubblebine III, says in the video:"All of the air defense systems in that part of the country had been turned off that day. - Why? Apparently because the Vice President had ordered them turned off.

The Different Face of the Third World War Make no mistake. The third World War is right here. Now. There are two sides to this war, but it is not the East against the West. It's not even the South against the North. It is not a geographical war. It's a class war. It is the Poor against the Rich on all five continents. And right now the Rich are winning. Absurdity Rules the World The absurdity of the world today is so blinding that we can barely see through the fog to discern what went so wrong. Plans had been spun for years in the dark underground caves by the enemies of man. The Neoconservatives had it all planned but one factor was missing... September 11 made it all possible... What we do know is that mass hysteria was awakened in the American people.

A lesser-known but horrible result of the negligence and callousness of the rich Western world is a cruelly disfiguring disease called noma, a scourge which is destroying lives in large parts of the developing nations. Until very recently, little has been done to deal with this awful disease, partly because it was hidden.
