I am a Union Construction Electrician. I have been a working man since the age of 16. While in high school I began working for Marden's Discount and Salvage in their original store in Waterville, ME. I joined the Marine Corp in 1982 at the age of 19. I worked in the Corp as a Com/Nav/Ident systems tech on CH-46E helocopters and was in the Multinational Peacekeeping Force deployed to Beirut in 1983. In 1986 I began working as an apprentice electrician in the IBEW. I have been an IBEW member since 1987. I have been contributing content and comments to this site since the early 2000's. Originally, as Sleeper then site policy forced me to contribute as Timothy Bickford.
