A Direct Route to Social Security Reform The traditional pension is like an endangered species only found in protected wilderness preserves. Most businesses have abandoned pensions for 401Ks. Unlike nature's endangered species, which should be protected in their natural environments, traditional defined benefits pension plans for government employees and politicians should be systematically hunted down, eliminated and replaced with an enhanced Social Security plan.

Globalism and US Entanglement in Iraq President George Bush is sending thousands of additional troops to Iraq, and there is nothing that Congress can or will do about it. The primary reason for Congressional impotence goes back to the first time the President sent troops into Iraq. The outcome of America's Iraqi adventures will greatly impact America's prestige and influence in the world, and as a consequence the dollar's strength and state of the US economy.

Some Thoughts on the US Dollar and Interest Rates Why are long-term interest rates so low? What sustains the US dollar's value? The the dollar's exchange value depends on the world markets' perceptions of US political-military strength, financial stability and economic vitality. Huge wild cards are in the deck of the future from US entanglement in Iraq to how the American consumer can earn enough to stay on top and perhaps even reduce his huge, creatively financed debts.

How Globalism Materially Corrupts and Eviscerates Spirituality (Part 1) Many of the recognized ills of our global society can be linked to, if not directly caused by, western civilization's materialistic philosophy because Globalism springs from western civilization. This is not to excuse non-western cultures. This massive material imbalance provides convincing evidence that we live in a world out of spiritual balance. Globalism suppresses the creative development of genuine spirituality.

Immigration and Spirituality The present political power brokers in Washington will likely deliver something touted as immigration reform to the American people this year. Whatever President George Bush and Speaker Nancy Pelosi come up with, I can practically guarantee you that it will further the globalist agenda against individual liberty and the middle class, which has been shrinking in the US since the late 60s. It will also ignore spiritual issues.
