Hall-la-lou-lou-ing for Oklahoma's Senator Tom Coburn: Congress's Worst Person? As Henry II is alleged to have said to his henchmen in regard to the Archbishop of Canterbury, Thomas Becket, who had been blocking some of Henry's governing and expropriating plans, "Is there no one to rid me of this meddlesome priest?" Odd isn't it how frequently, almost inevitably, religious piety and the process of making civil law become nearly conjoined twins.

How to Spell Equality? I before E except after C. L before G except Before B? Why should we develop these sensitivities about spellings and acronyms? Gayness is about having the right to privacy to exercise our affectional and emotional bonds as we like with consenting adults. Gayness is about having the same rights as any other man or woman who has chosen opposite-gender marriage or co-habitation, with or without progeny.

Watch Out, Gays and Liberals -- Hate Radio Has Put a Target on You Scapegoat is part of the definition of being a minority. Loners with fragile self-esteem and access to guns make targets of those who, mirage-like, appear in their befogged brains as the cause for their sleepless nights. The 2nd Amendment doesn't trump the First Amendment!

Peace from Christian or Islam? Give me Freethought! The belittlement of women is a central point of the desert religions and should not be forgotten in attempts to appease the lurking proselytizers hideing behind sheep's clothing whether they carry a crucifix or crescent and star.

Riddle: How Are Pregnant Citizens like Gay Citizens? The keyword is privacy. Without it our human qualities of independence of action, critical thinking, right of association become strategic playthings in the political arena.

Why keep the lights off? Low-maintenance bait? Is the darkness a passive policy of enticement purposely engineered by OKC city government? Is the darkness being used as a low-maintenance bait for entrapment? If the city was really interested in reducing lewd behavior in public parks wouldn't the lights be on throughout the night? Why weren't all those sensors operational?

Jesse Helms, now deceased, the role model for Sally Kern? The glass homophobic ceilings, built by the backwardly religious or the double-speaking politicians of any party, won't break unless they're pushed. What bible-bangers pound in their own or others privacy is none of my business and I want them to leave me and my LGBT brothers and sisters alone!

Hungry, Will Work for Pansies Who could have known that the green of grass and living plants could mutate into the barren, ugly desert of homophobia and religious intolerance. Remember, however, that it's the common, everyday activities that make up our society's view of our surroundings--gay or straight, physically or mentally--and is the glue that makes our society work.

I've heard JFK, and Mitt, you're no JFK By the starkest verbal contrast imaginable President Kennedy speaks of the right to attend church, or NOT to attend church. He elaborates that he would work for an elimination of the divisiveness caused by virulent religious differences and refers to history to prove his point.

TXT MSGing our LGBT Equality The American LGBT equality movement has its own list of TXT MSG acronyms that represents the core of discrimination still being directed at us, even as many countries in western Europe, the Southern Hemisphere, Canada, and Mexico have recognized the inherent right of their own LGBT citizens to the legal equality of a modern, humane society.

Procreation Uber Alles As our American society devolves into a seriously reality-adverse gulag of religiously based proscriptions against equality, and as the "demos" is removed from Democracy and replaced with "theos", I've written a proposed bill that someone like Trent "gays have kleptomania" Lott, Larry "I'm not gay" Craig, David "diaper" Vitter, or Jim "no gays in my family" Inhofe will take up on the floor of Congress.

Just How Vulgar Will a Desperate Candidate Get? Just as violent rape of women by men is described as an attempt at power, with nothing to do with lust, so is the use of sexual penetration by antagonists used to inculcate their ideas of power and superiority at the basest level of human society.

Must Magazines be Dumbed Down to the Level of the Limbaugh Listener? Some of us are being scared witless and s***less by the counter-intelligence tactics of the right-wing. I think we need to leave behind the right-wing paranoia and get on with electing Democrats all across the country.
