For humanity to survive, corporations can no longer be persons under the law Viability of humanity beyond the 21st Century will depend on decisions we need to make in the very near term. By changing the definition of Corporation, great strides to rational outcomes can be made. Corporations can no longer be persons under the law.

Morals are the genes of societal evolution. Morality is natural AND functions as the means by which societies evolve. The same natural selection mechanism as biologic evolution operates on societal evolution, with morals acting as the genes of social evolution.

What is 60,000 cubic miles? It's the volume of Gulf water ALREADY polluted! Some simple calculations identify how many cubic MILES have been polluted by the BP Oil Spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Even the high estimate of 65,000 CUBIC MILES may be far lower than the actual amount of ocean that will be potentially polluted.
