Worked as a survey team leader initially after a disaster, lead reviewer on Guam (80 employees), Senior Construction Analyst and Field Operations Specialist for the Northridge Earthquake (150), Field Chief in Arizona (15), Liaison, Field Inspector and Construction Analyst, Independent Insurance Adjustor for Hurricane Katrina and Rita; and, Communication Director for the Association of Sacramento Area Planners.

Volunteered for two years with the Association of Sacramento Area Planners and served two years as the Commications Director in providing education on inspecting infrastructure and disaster recovery.

Effected States: California, Arizona, Oregon, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Louisiana, Guam and the Island of Saipan.

Provided standards and documentation procedures to manage, assess, document, audit and plan construction project compliance.

Perils: Flash Floods, Riot, Earthquakes, Fires, Ice Storm, Tropical Storms, Typhoons and Hurricanes.

Disaster recovery and War -who responds? This article is about the heart of disaster response and recovery. The aftermath in China is catastrophic and the Myanmar situation is dismal. The current disasters at home and abroad recall fears, emotions and feelings from Hurricane Katrina. The next President must lead by example and take the leadership as the Commander and Chief during natural and manmade disasters here at home and abroad.
