(Unlike so many other people, I believe that we, as a society, HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE RIGHT T O RAIN DOWN THE ULTIMATE PUNISHMENT, when it is appropriate to do so.
As I read recently on a Death Penalty website, we are the instrument through which God brings down his ultimate power on the worst of sinners. (The author of the posted article I read on this website was a Priest.)
