I am a musician and retired professor of music, having spent the last years of my teaching career in a community college. Although I am retired from teaching, I still am active as a performer (pianist,) songwriter, vocalist, humorist and entertainer. My specialty is performing standards from movies and shows, and relating anecdotes relating to all aspects of the music and lyrics. I and my songwriting partner have written over 100 songs and had them included in movies and network soap opera. Currently, I have six albums of piano music on the internet. I have received many awards, and my only sadness is the deplorable state of the world and my contry's major role in exacerbating it.
