I'm 55 years Yupik Eskimo, originally from Nelson Island, remember that movie, Insomnia with Al Pacino, that was supposedly shot in Nighmute, that is not the way I remember the village, Anyway, I have lived and worked in the YK Delta for most of my life. I have three grown children, whow have given me seven grandchildren, of whom I am very proud of. I also have an eight year old daughter, who was a blessing in disquise, even though she was born on 9/11. I just hope that we leave this place a better one for them to grow up in.
