Dinesh Sharma is a marketing science consultant with a Doctorate in Psychology from Harvard. He is a senior fellow at Institute for International and Cross-Cultural Research, St Francis College, NYC, and a regular columnist for Asia Times Online.

Some of his recent articles and opinions have also appeared in Wall Street Journal Online, Little India, Wonkette.com, Free Lance-Star, Far Eastern Economic Review, Middle East Times, Middle East Online, Epoch Times, Biotech Law Review, Health Affairs, Media Monitors, DC Chronicles, Fredricksburg.com, MyCentralJersey.com, International Psychology Bulletin, and other scientific journals.

He is the author of the following books:

He has recently completed a "cultural biography" of the 44th President of the US, titled "Barack Obama in Hawaii and Indonesia: The Making of A Global President" (Praeger-ABC/CLIO, Sept 2011).
