I am a 57 year old woman. Born in Tampa, Florida, graduate of Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia with a bachelor's degree in psychology. Don't feel that my life is very significant but I have worked with Sierra Club, Big Sisters, the arts, etc., etc. Unexciting jobs in my life but I did have 3 children during my first marriage of 17 years. Very proud of their accomplishments. Especially since I was a single mom for 5 years after my divorce and considering that my eldest was an adolescent, things could have turned out very differently. Have been married almost 14 years to my husband and since marrying him have lived along with him and my children in various countries. Wonderful experience which has opened my eyes to so much. Even though living abroad, we keep abreast of matters of importance in our home country (we are both Americans) via progressive websites and radio over my laptop. Very concerned about all that is happening and has been happening and write about 25 letters a week to our "leaders", editors of papers, etc. My husband and I feel much despair over the state of our world now given all that Bush has done but also beginning long before Bush. And we both feel very strongly now, after having learned much about all the candidates over this past year, that Barack Obama is our one best hope for restoring our Constituion and helping to lead us on a more moral path to work with other nations to save our planet. YES, WE CAN!
