I am a freelance artist, blogger and a podcaster who lives in Minnesota. My current political heroes are Bernie Sanders, Dennis Kucinich, Maxine Waters, and on certain days for certain reasons, Ron Paul when he's speaking out against war. I also admire Jimmy Carter and Arundhati Roy and Howard Zinn and Noam Chomsky. My favorite broadcast journalists are Thom Hartmann, Mike Malloy and Amy Goodman. I have a common sense approach to liberal politics and I don't like wild leaps of logic from the left any more than I like it from the right. My podcast is called Civilianism and I am starting another one soon of short news stories called Podcast Liberally. And I don't make any income from any of this, so the recession hasn't hit me yet!
