It's actually wonderful to see that you're nobody and that all the fear you've had all your life was in relation to this self you thought you had. You have one less thing to promote, protect, maintain, dress up, and present to the world.
You don't try to make liberation happen. That would be the action of me or mine, the self-conscious practitioner. Real meditation happens when the meditator ['s ego] dies. ... As the practice continues, there is such a surrender to the object that there's nothing outside the observation.
Working to make 'me' happy only causes pain. Working for the happiness of others brings joy.... Maintaining the illusion of a solid separate self is drudgery.
