Obama's Support for the New Graham-Lieberman Secrecy Law
The Obama White House is supporting a new bill (sponsored by Sens. Lindsey Graham & Joe Lieberman) whose sole purpose is allowing the government to suppress any "photograph taken between September 11, 2001 and January 22, 2009" relating to the treatment of detainees in the "War on Terror." In other words, Obama wants Congress to change the FOIA so that the courts can't compel release of any more torture photos.

Blair 'knew Iraq had no WMD' (Times of London)
TONY BLAIR privately conceded two weeks before the Iraq war that Saddam Hussein did not have any usable weapons of mass destruction, Robin Cook, the former foreign secretary, reveals today.
John Scarlett, chairman of the joint intelligence committee (JIC), also "assented" that Saddam had no such weapons, says Cook.
