Democrats are Way Better for the Stock Markets

Democrats ought to argue strongly that they are better for the stock market. As Jeremy Siegel, currently the Russell E. Palmer Professor of Finance at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, demonstrates, annualized stock returns under the last eleven US presidential administrations have averaged 15.26% under Democratic Administrations and 9.53% under Republican Administrations

Jon Tester Leads Conrad Burns 50 to 41 in Latest Gallup Poll

In what has been a very close race, Big Sandy farmer Jon Tester has pulled ahead of Conrad Burns in the race for Montana US Senate. In the most recent USA Today/Gallup Poll Tester leads 50-41 among likely voters and 46-40 among all voters. This is a relief to the Tester campaign which had seen one recent poll suggesting that the race was tied.
