Candidates Face the Ross Perot Voters
Barack Obama must do more than capture the electorate's minds with expression of the issues. He must modify the vision the electorate has for his opponent and gain perception as the straight shooting hope for the future who empowers people. Unfortunately, a difficult chore for someone who talks sense to many who lack sensibility and talks truth to a part of the electorate that is too quick to accept distortions.

The U.S. Military Presence in Iraq
The Sunni and Shiite factions must resolve their disputes by themselves, and they can best do that with assistance from nations which each faction trusts. If Saudi Arabia and Iran cooperate in resolving the Iraq crisis, it sets the stage for resolution of other Middle East conflicts and for bridging the divide between Shiite and Sunni militancy. Success brings a revised legacy for the Bush administration.

Spoken of as "partition" or "territorial and demographic adjustment," it can be used against an entire nation; just slice corpus from corpus, separate populations, separate lands, or build walls of separation. Made to seem as a means to diminish internecine conflict and provide a welcomed communal division, the breakup of nations has been a strategy.

War Cometh Before a Fall
War has economic roots; no matter how it is made to appear. Call it spreading freedom, fighting terrorism or protecting citizens, the driving force for war is to gain economic advantage. If economic problems grow and the U.S standard of living declines, the U.S. government will seek its only remaining solution: War cometh before a fall.
