Monsanto buys 'Terminator' Seed Company
The United States Government has been financing research on a genetic engineering technology which, when commercialized, will give its owners the power to control the food seed of entire nations or regions. The Government has been working quietly on this technology since 1983. Now, the little-known company that has been working in this genetic research with the Government's US Department of Agriculture Delta & Pine Land.

Shriners Hospital Violated FDA Regs, Part 18
Sandy Frost ~ The FDA News reported today that Timothy A. Ulatowski, Director of the Office of Compliance for the Center for Devices and Radiological Health, sent a warning letter to Dr. Richard J. Kagan, chief of staff at the Cincinnati Shriners Hospital, for violating FDA regulations. The Shriners Hospitals is a 501c3 charity made up of 22 hospitals

The risks seem almost unmeasurably complex. If we start to use food crops to produce medicine how do we regulate the doses? What happens if we unknowingly mix different kinds of medicinal foodstuffs, or mix medicinal foodstuffs with traditional medicines? How do we measure the safety?

Monsanto tells pack of lies in South Africa
The suit proves again the strategy of lying. Monsanto addressed the ASA at length and submitted inter alia that it had a strict code of conduct and that MON 863 was not their product. The facts are that MON 863 is indeed a product of Monsanto and that Monsanto had suppressed the evidence of serious damage to the liver and kidneys of rats in their own GM maize trials until ordered to release this evidence by a German Court.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein�s husband was a major beneficiary of military appropriations blessed by a subcommittee that she headed, Metro Newspapers reports this week.
Feinstein (D-Calif.) acted in a conflict of interest while approving billions of dollars in military construction expenditures for the global war on terror, according to investigation by award-winning journalist Peter Byrne and Fund of the Nation Institute.

Last week, Carl Pope, head of the Sierra Club, and Leo Gerard, president of the United Steelworkers (USW) union, announced the formation of the Blue/Green Alliance, linking the nation's biggest industrial labor union with the nation's largest environmental organization.
