We westerners we tun this planet. Are we?
We run the world we have created on top of the planet, but the planet has its own ecosystem. We are inside that ecology -- not outside as we wrongly imagine.
We, living in Hawai'i know full well that we do not control the volcano, the lava that has now flown out of the innards of the earth for almost 30 years. Nor the frequent earthquakes.
What if we were not in charge?
