Lance Ciepiela is a retired senior who had an interesting career in government service - a United States Marine Corps [ USMC ] Vietnam Era veteran, who became interested in restoring the Constitution after I realized that George W. Bush had attacked Iraq on false pretense and got away with it. First thing I asked myself on 9/11 as the two planes smashed into the Twin Towers was - "where are the interceptors"? - this could not have been a terrorist attack with NORAD nowhere in sight, not even at the Pentagon. My hope for restoring the Constitution is that Congress will get back to the "rule of law" by bringing George W. Bush to justice - and every Representative and Senator in Congress, and the President, would finally arrive at the "third stage" of accepting the truth about 9/11 = "knew it all along", was explosives and demolitions, and not the office fires or two planes like they said.
Wednesday, February 15, 2012 Illusion of Recovery: Feellings vs. Facts
The recovery storyline being touted by the oligarchy of politicians, bankers and media is designed to make consumers feel better. This is a key part of their master plan. Any honest assessment of the financial disaster that struck in 2008 would conclude it was caused by too much debt peddled to too many people incapable of paying it back, too few banks having too much power, the Federal Reserve keeping interest rates too low for too long, and that same Federal Reserve doing too little regulating of the Too Big To Fail Wall Street mega-banks.
Monday, January 30, 2012 What Would War with Iran Look Like?
Those who fear Iranian nukes above all else tend to minimize the risks of using force, while those who fear war tend to exaggerate them. Neither side, however, has persuasively spelled out the reasons for their assessment, leading one to suspect that much of the argument rests on less than rigorous analysis.
Friday, January 27, 2012 The State of Obama's Facts (1 comments)

Tuesday, January 17, 2012 Single State Defies OBAMA Detention Plan (1 comments)
"Given the fact that the constitutions of Rhode Island and that of the United States are replete with guarantees of individual liberties, right to habeas corpus, and right to freedom of speech, the offending sections of that law are repugnant to the sensibilities of anyone that has a basic understanding of the foundation of this country" - Rhode Island State Lawmaker Rep. Daniel P. Gordon Jr
Monday, January 16, 2012 10 reasons the U.S. is no longer the land of the free (1 comments)
Americans remain confident that any definition of a free nation must include their own - the land of the free. Yet, the laws and practices of the land should shake that confidence. In the decade since Sept. 11, 2001, this country has comprehensively reduced civil liberties in the name of an expanded security state.
Saturday, January 7, 2012 Is it time for a new Declaration of Independence? (2 comments)
"The actions of our government have created a moral and Constitutional crisis that demands a response from the people. Americans have patiently suffered mounting government outrages against us -- lies, corruption, legal plunder, and terror. We have waited in despair for reforms and redress, but the outrages have only gotten worse. We can now wait no longer".
Tuesday, January 3, 2012 Preparing to Attack Iran with Nuclear Weapons - "No Option can be taken off the Table." (1 comments)
When a US sponsored nuclear war becomes an "instrument of peace", condoned and accepted by the World's institutions and the highest authority, including the United Nations, there is no turning back - human society has indelibly been precipitated headlong onto the path of self-destruction.
Wednesday, December 28, 2011 Surrendering More American Rights (1 comments)
More than a decade after the 9/11 attacks -- even after Osama bin Laden's death and U.S. intelligence assessments that al-Qaeda is collapsing -- Congress keeps on chipping away at U.S. constitutional rights in the name of fighting terrorism, and President Obama is ready to go along,

Tuesday, October 11, 2011 Financial Giants Put New York City Cops On Their Payroll
It's called the Paid Detail Unit and it allows the New York Stock Exchange and Wall Street corporations, including those repeatedly charged with crimes, to order up a flank of New York's finest with the ease of dialing the deli for a pastrami on rye. The corporations pay an average of $37 an hour (no medical, no pension benefit, no overtime pay)for a member of the NYPD, with gun, handcuffs, and the ability to arrest. New York City gets a 10 percent administrative fee on top of the $37 per hour paid to the police. The City's 2011 budget called for $1,184,000 in Paid Detail fees, meaning private corporations were paying wages of $11.8 million to police participating in the Paid Detail Unit. Thursday, June 3, 2010 Obama's Green Light to Israeli Massacre by Ray McGovern (2 comments)
Obama was careful to say nothing about the brutal Israeli blockade against the 1.5 million people in Gaza, about to enter its fourth year. As president-elect he stayed mum as the Israelis attacked densely populated Gaza, killing some 1,400 Gazans. As President, he has backed down at every significant moment when Netanyahu thumbed his nose at Obama or at Vice President Joe Biden.

Monday, March 2, 2009 The Untermensch Syndrome: Israel's Moral Decay (4 comments)
In the minds of those groups seeking to invade, conquer, pilfer and exploit, the invaded and conquered must be seen as sub-human, creatures not worthy of protection or life. The human mind, in order to justify the ruthlessness it will inflict on less able peoples, creates the impression that those now controlled are sub-humans and therefore not immune to the restrictions of human morality.
