Retired Orlando Pharmacist. Had a great 40-year career in pharmacy practice then I started my own web-based medication reminder software business in 1996. It has been very rewarding to be able to help people all over the world - not just in Orlando.

Back in '89-'91, I served on the APhA Board of Trustees with a PhD who did "the" research on the costs of patient noncompliance. Back then $100 Billion was wasted in the US every year because people don't take their medications correctly. That's serious money and it got my attention.

After researching what was available (nothing!), I decided to "do something", so I left pharmacy practice and started my own software development business. I decided what the software should do (based on my extensive pharmacy background) and worked with a brilliant Palm programmer, who knew nothing about pharmacy and I knew nothing about programming! (I've still never met Van, the man!)

We produced the BEST medication reminder program available anywhere in the world, and OnTimeRx consistently gets Rave Reviews and "5 out of 5 star" ratings from our users and it's even won awards.

Many users requested Pocket PC versions and a desktop program interface, so I added those platforms to our software offereings.

We must've done something right, because Microsoft called me in November of 2006. They were working with several senior focus groups and they all liked my prescription software program. So my OnTimeRx- Windows program is now included in a special Senior PC package on HP Vista machines.

BTW- I exhibited with Microsoft at the AARP 2007 conference in Boston and the Mar/Apr '08 issue of AARP Magazine mentions OnTimeRx.
