I can make a pledge to anyone who reads this, and that is that I will keep my mind as open as possible, and that I will always admit when I am wrong. I've always been an independent voter and cringe at the thought of partisan politics. I will consider all sides to a debate. Most importantly, I try to be an independent thinker, and it's difficult in this age. The founders used to say that the price of liberty is constant vigilance. That is definitely no small price to pay, and we've all been slacking on it. When I'm not struggling to sort through the garbage information the media feeds me to come to my own conclusions, I'm working to create a sound studio on my linux platform, debating with friends, writing music, wishing I could afford some of the instruments I used to have, working on a degree in the Humanities, to later get one in Audio Engineering, reading science fiction, and of course, spending time with my beautiful wife, and reminiscing on how I met her--my lovely Russian doll.
