After almost 28 years as a professional software engineer, Mark has recently become a published author of epic fantasy adventures. He has been actively involved in politics since the late 1980s, with an emphasis both on political philosophy and on-the-ground activism, on the web and in real life. Mark has been an active member of the California Democratic Party, an adherent to the fundamental tenets of the party while not being tied to the activities of its "elected" "leaders."
