The founder of several New England music groups, John Coster is a perfrorming songwriter and traditional musician based in Western Massachusetts. He is best known for his songs and pioneering use of the harmonica as a lead instrument in traditional instrumental music. He has also worked as an editor, independent researcher and carpenter.
