A person dedicated to helping others ~ human and non-human. I'm a teacher and, for 10 years, I was an EMT with the Mendham Township First Aid Squad, a volunteer organization providing 24 hour, 365 days a year coverage to township residents experiencing any medical emergency. I have also dedicated a huge part of my life to warning people about the dangers of artificial sweeteners, especially aspartame/Nutrasweet/Equal.

My home has always been filled with furry adoptees who desperately needed a loving home. Although I am devoted to domestic creatures, I also fight constantly to save wildlife, especially deer, bears and geese. I am a very active member of the BEAR Education and Resource Group in New Jersey, among others.
