I'm 58, male, married. I feel strongly about separation of religion and state which is why I vote Democratic since Democrats support freedom FROM religion as much as freedom OF religion. I like hiking with my wife, wilderness camping and playing mindless video games late at night (because I never had my fair share as a kid). I have an undergraduate degree in math but always enjoyed the recreational side of math vs. the pratical side. I worked for a fuel cell research company from 1977 to 1982 which was gutted when cheap oil became available. I feel VERY strongly about the issue of America's energy independence and feel it's the biggest biggest disappointment about America. I screwed in compact florescent bulbs 20 years ago before it was a green thing to do. I did this not to be green so much as to follow the Russian saying "We are not so rich as to buy cheap things".
