I'm a Brooklyn girl, living in the woods outside of NYC, with a 14 year old boy, his best friend (most of the time) who is also 14, a menagerie of animals, and chickens laying eggs outside!
I am a liberal blogger and the president of a charitable foundation that helps inner city kids with what they need educationally....and my main aim is to understand what got us into this neocon mess; what is happening to the American culture and psyche that has allowed these people to take hold...the role of the media, education, the Two Americas, and our growing environmental issues that seem to add to a sharp increase in mental illness in this country....
