Doris Humphrey said all movement is an arc between two deaths. My life is a similar arc from the fields of north central Ohio to the CEment groves of central Athens, Greece. And like Humphrey's choreography, that implies another bounce is possible, if not planned. Along the current trajectory there is a divorce and two brilliant, grown children, a degree in International Studies, a variegated career mostly centering on writing (newspaper, 4 EFL books, language test materials, enviro column for a local glossy magazine), community organizing, and always, the dance ... another arc, from modern to Greek folk dance. I'm currently distracted by political events, active in Dems Abroad Greece and a founding member of HELADA progressives group.
