Deena Stryker

Born in Philadelphia, I spent most of my adolescent and adult years in Europe. I began my journalistic career at the French News Agency in Rome, then worked as on-set press officer for the shooting of the Fellini film '8 1/2' in order to write a book about it. Spent two years in Cuba with the money from the book to find out whether Fidel and companions were Communists before they made the revolution. Also wrote the only book that foresaw the fall of the Berlin Wall AND the dissolution of the Soviet Union, in French. Just finished a memoir.
