I moved to San Francisco last year in search of direction and a place in this world. All the pieces have not yet fallen into place, but I'm trusting that as I take forward steps, the path will lay itself under my feet. I recently began working at Tikkun Magazine, drawn to it by the passion to heal and transform the world articulated by Michael Lerner. I may not be able to single-handedly change the world, but by figuring out the truth of who I am and living to that, hopefully I can inspire others to do the same.

"Ours is not the task of fixing the entire world all at once, but of stretching out to mend the part of the world that is within our reach. Any small, calm thing that one soul can do to help another soul, to assist some portion of this poor suffering world, will help immensely. It is not given to us to know which acts or by whom, will cause the critical mass to tip toward an enduring good. What is needed for dramatic change is an accumulation of acts - adding, adding to, adding more, continuing." -Dr. Clarissa Estés
