Zan is an actor, dancer, choreographer, writer, designer and artist. He is a director of a major national civil rights organization, one of the youth founders of the Progressive Caucus of the California Democratic Party, and an organizer of political rallies and events. He is responsible for many of the most liberal resolutions adopted by the California Democratic Party in recent years.
