I'm a software engineer who has been an activist over the past 6 years (Bush made me do it!) first for the Kucinich campaign and then for open and verified elections (only paper ballots!). Increasingly I'm losing hope -- big money and big media hold all the "votes" in this society, and they are in complete alignment with the corporatists in the current government.
