I've lived in Ca. for about forty years, I have one daughter who is in the final stages of MS.Since my daughter's illness nine years ago, there has been many challenges, in her short life. I also have grown and developed from helping her deal with this illness. I really enjoy politics, you probably might call me a political wonk. In February I received my wings, when I had this opportunity to hear Bill Clinton speak in Orange County. I woke up at 2:00AM ready to drive out to Orange County to Hear President Clinton speak. It takes well over an hour to reach the College, so we wanted to start early. My stomach was aching a bit, but I didn't let that stop me. No, I kept on going and stood in line 2 1/2 hours, only to find out that it was a standing only affair. President Clinton was on time, at 7:00AM he spoke. It was awesome! After he spoke, he came over and said hello and shook my hand. I thanked him for being my President and as he shook my hand he looked into my eyes and said it was an honor. By the time I left that room, the stomach pain was so intense. Later, I found out that I had suffered a ruptured appendix. But, I heard Bill Clinton speak and shook his hand. Would you guys out there say I'm a political wonk.
