I am a professional storyteller of twenty years who also gives presentations on spiritual topics, including dream interpretation. I have always been deeply involved in ppolitical thinking and majored in History at Madison Wisconsin in the late 60's when it was known as the "Berkeley of the Mid West". I have also been involved for over 35 years with mystical spirituality and metaphysics and one of my interests is integrating my spiritual vision with my political perspectives. This leads to some unusual thoughts at times, but thoughts that I think have value. I like to also use the lens of myth and archetpye when viewing history because in the end I believe "History" and "events" are primarily the story we or anyone constructs about it. Narrative is primary. This is often lost on a society still stuck in a "Newtonian" political vision (object consciosness-events are "real things" that stand alone from who is doing the interpreting). We need to brealk out of the box more, especially our own blind spots.
