I am descended from Mary, Queen of Scots, and descended from Gen. Philip H. Sheridan. I joined The SCV historical fraternity through Capt. H. G. Sheridan of South Carolina infantry. Both of my parents worked for the U.S. D.O.D. My father was a member of the NSC and U.S. Army Board Of Directors involved in the sales of military hardware to foreign nations. My mother joined the Republican National party as a political activist who went on to become a first woman mayor elected twice, a senator's aide, a campaign co-ordinator, and a record setting campaign manager. She is an author and public records expert researcher, a genaeologist, and a constitutional law advisor who educated legislators, and helped to defeat ERA on a national level in 1971. Writing is something we have in common in this family. Against all family expectations, I turned away from government and politics as a young man and went to work for rock bands starting with Lynyrd Skynyrd. I do live sound and recording engineering as well as a designer, installer and repair technician of professional sound systems. I have albums out there I recorded and mixed every note of, or worked on. I have owned my own business, taught in public high school, and published in various magazines over the years. I am in VH-1 documentary UNVICIL WAR, and I am now written into 2 published historical books about Lynyrd Skynyrd. I am a photographer with my efforts used on albums, books, magazines, and more. At 11 I built my first subwoofer. At 14 I built my own audio power amplifier from scratch, and at 25, sound systems for NASA, Lynyrd Skynyrd studios, Universal Studios, Walt Disney World and more including touring sound systems. Presently I am writing 2 books, and overhauling tube guitar amplifiers for a hobby in my off-time, as well as posting on OpEdNews.com and enjoying the great outdoors here in Florida.
