Aubrey Meyer

Aubrey Meyer has campaigned at the UN to win acceptance of the framework to avoid dangerous climate change known as 'Contraction and Convergence' (C&C) since 1990. Awarded the Andrew Lees Memorial Award for this in1998 and the Schumacher Award in 2000, in 2005 the City of London made a life-time’s achievement award to him, "in recognition of an outstanding personal contribution to combating climate change at an international level through his efforts to enhance the understanding and adoption of the principle of Contraction and Convergence.”
