I am a database consultant who previously taught economics at The University of Chicago, DePaul, and Roosevelt, has run for Congress as a Libertarian against pro-war pro-PATRIOT Act Democrat Jim Davis in the 11th Cong. District in Florida in 2004, I ran in the GOP Primary in the 3rd Cong. District in Texas in 2006 against Sam "nuke Syria and torture prisoners" Johnson, and am actively involved in the Ron Paul campaign here in Illinois, having paid for the Ron Paul booth at the McLean County Fair. My 'website' is now more or less a historical shingle concerning my 2006 race, and the email doesn't work anymore.
Monday, December 31, 2007 Why Ron Paul will take IA/NH and Why the Polls are WRONG (23 comments)
1) Ron Paul (RP) supporters are high income and McCain and Giuliani supporters are low income which has dire implications for polling results; 2) Polls are looking at GOP Primary voters from 2006 and 2004, and RP supporters AREN'T IN THAT GROUP; 3) RP 'substitute' and endorser Pat Buchanan won NH in 1996; a previous poll on the Iowa Straw Poll already had underpredicted RP support; RP regularly wins most straw polls.
