Stop the Insanity!
(3 comments) Is it just me or do many of my fellow citizens' see the insanity in this presidential election? Highly paid political pundits defend exaggerations and false claims made by political candidates in spite of verified facts to the contrary. The news media are acting like paparazzi in covering Sarah Palin. While John McCain repeats the false claims of his running mate, he wants to talk about lipstick on a pig.

Contempt of Congress?
One definition of "Contempt of Congress" is the refusal of a person to comply with a subpoena issued by a Congressional committee or subcommittee. Historically, bribery of a Senator or Representative of Congress was considered "Contempt of Congress." Another definition of "Contempt of Congress" should be the contempt many in the Congress have for the very people who elected them to govern.
