Was Mikheil Saakashvili's all-out attack on South Ossetia merely due to his ineptitude and hubris, which his CIA handlers were unable to steer, or was he, in fact, egged on to the deed, as a pawn to be sacrificed in the interest of drawing Russia into a wider war ?
