Volunteer a little time and make a big difference
I'm 61 years old, fear the computer even though I am stuck before the screen. I fear cyber-hacking by the government or vigilantes. Few activists know where each other live or even meet. So mail, email, phone calls and cyberbills secretively not paid, would leave most in cyber dark, even physical dark, if the electric bill were marked unpaid.

Ron Paul understands freedom best, and gets young people to be activists. Obama and Huckebee realize that al Qiada specifically is a threat and are not going to make the Muslim world in general angry at us. I like that Obama will change the US from an image of a big white bully. Bush started out with a few good points, on immigration and urging not to deface Muslim business. But having the wrong image kept making him worse. So a new image may be as important as new intentions.

Anyway, I tend to be inconstant in my political support.

Will Ron Paul be the Straw that Broke the Camel's Back?
(3 comments) President Roosevelt made some changes in the country, and the New Deal changes have slowly and not so slowly back sliding ever since. Supporting Ron Paul can accelerate this process.

New Revaluations in the Kennedy Assassination
(5 comments) There may be a small conspiracy, or slightly larger conspiracy, but the bulging mess represents a Three-Stooges fink, rather than a "1984" World Premier

Why is Congress so Reluctant on Impeachment?
(1 comments) Support for impeachment proceeding is all but nonexistent among politicians, yet they never explain why. People claim maybe they are afraid for their own safety. Since Hillary is already accused of being too devisive, maybe she thinks it's politely smart to avoid a divisive issue. However there are more fundamental problems with dwelling on impeachment that opponents of impeachment need to articulate.

How different is Rudy from Hillary? Let's let the Internet decide
Giuliani may be making sweeping statements about fighting terror, but was connected to the Saudi Government, and also Citgo Petroleum of Venezuela and Chavez, and thus Hillary and Romney are more likely to slip into a war with much of the rest of the Muslim and Latin world than is Giuliani.

Ron Paul vs Arnold Schwarzenegger -- Two Visions in the Opposite Direction
It's like two pebbles thrown in a pond making waves, but the waves Ron Paul spreads and Schwarzenegger creates are different. Ron Paul's vision is a pro-peace county based on the agenda of America's founders. Schwarzenegger inspired Hillary-Care & his popularity with Democrats is encouraging the Republicans to pick super-hawk who is thought to be similar to Schwarzenegger. Can Ron Paul save the day? ie the country.

The Burma Bloodbath Affects Us All
(1 comments) Inspiration is important. The way the Tiananmen Square protests were crushed and the way the nonviolent struggle in Burma is being repressed, means that destructive dreams like those of bin Laden, may have a lot more appeal.

I knew Mumia before he was arrested
No comprehensive review of Mumia and Move for over 10 years. I knew him before he was arrested and the tense political climate back then seem to have forgetting

War on Terror = War on Drugs? MAYBE IT'S TIME TO PANIC
Sometimes the War on Terror is ridiculed as similar to the War on Drugs. The usual phrases used, "So-called War on Terror" and "So-called War on Drugs." I got a disturbing thought if it's hopeless, and doomsday terror is increasing possible, why are so many people yawning, and saying that the terror danger is hype.

SHOULD BUSH BE IMPEACHED? NO!
In 2001 President Bush and Colin Powell stopped war between nuclear India and Pakistan, would treat undocumented workers with respect if progressives would work with him and a go-slow approach to stem cell research, with moral oversight would be a good idea if both sides wouldn't pretend he opposes all research.
