This is a look at what I've been up to and what's next at ManifestPositivity.org

It's Alive (Beta) - IfWeRanTheWorld.com
(1 comments) IfWeRanTheWorld.com is now in live beta. I've been eagerly awaiting the chance to use this and see great potential for it as a means to attract and facilitate organizing the Manifest Positivity advocacy journalism collective. It looks like only some of the features have been enabled so far. I have created a limited profile and created a "microaction," though I also had to report a problem that the action item seems to have vanished. I also submitted praise saying I was so glad they had launched even a little! (though this too may have disappeared in the ether.)

Building The Manifest Positivity Community, a Collective of Collaborators
This video follows up on last week's piece about collaboration and learning, describing in more detail who I'd like to hear from about working together, what topics Manifest Positivity will be expanding into, and a Feb. 3 meeting at The Ink People (517 3rd St, Suite 36, in Eureka) to gather those ready to start contributing. I believe this will be the jumping off point for broader organizing, including shared decision making about how to build this community into something effective.

Labyrinthanks for the kindling
A brief anecdote about presence and pronoia - the belief the universe is conspiring on your behalf. It is also a story about gratitude, for kindling and labyrinths. And it is a plug for Rob Brezsny's amazing book, "Pronoia." See http://www.beautyandtruth.com

Introducing ManifestPositivity.org
ManifestPositivity.org is a new video website devoted to advocacy journalism as a public service for peaceful revolution. It both extends my previous work in this area and takes a step toward what I'm creating next, a web-based TV talk show for the same purpose. See the brief video clip and press release below for more details and please visit ManifestPositivity.org to get involved.

Vets For Peace Anti-Recruitment Guide, The Golden Ticket For The Arcata, Eureka Youth Protection Act
(1 comments) Late last year I posted about the terrific anti-recruitment guide published by Veterans For Peace Humboldt Bay Chapter 56. They have now printed a second edition (with a third in the works) so I want to offer the link again to the updated version:

Bush In Prison - Wish You Were Here (seeking animator)
More than six years ago I had the idea for the image below. It actually came to me as a flash animation, but I've neither acquired those skills nor been able to persuade anyone to complete the project. Finally a few weeks ago I found this stock photo and used my rudimentary PhotoShop skills to add the caption. Below the image is the original (2002) storyboard for the full concept.

Suggested Reading For The Teenagers In Your Life
My friends at Veterans For Peace Humboldt Bay Chapter 56 have really put together a phenomenal counter-recruitment pamphlet. Please share it with parents or young people you know.

Eureka Reporter: No wonder we're ready for revolution
Setting straight a factually-challenged conservative column, the Eureka Reporter printed my response including a sterling title: No Wonder We're Ready For Revolution.

Hitting The Road With A Blueprint For Peaceful Revolution
I was invited to speak to the Progressive Democrats of Sonoma County this week. I told them Peaceful revolution is necessary, NOW!
